If you've got some spare time in Quito, this three-day tour is the perfect way to spend it. Catch a cable car to the top of a volcano for an eye-popping view, wander the city's historic neighbourhoods, and sample some craft beer at a local pub — all with a CEO as your ever-so-knowledgeable guide.
Day 1 Quito
Arrive at any time.
Day 2 Quito
Catch the cable car up Volcán Pichincha for panoramic views of the city. After, have lunch at a local restaurant then explore Quito on a walking tour, sampling some tasty local bites along the way. Stroll through Quito's plazas and admire the stunning architecture of Palacio Arzobispal and La Compañía. Enjoy a chocolate and coffee tasting and learn the process of how different products are made. End the day at a local pub to sample one of Quito's many local craft beers.
Day 3 Quito
After checking out of the hotel, enjoy a free day to choose from a variety of optional activities like a tour to Cotopaxi or Mindo Cloud Forest. For travellers continuing on to another G Adventures tour, your CEO will help facilitate the joining of the new group starting in the evening.
