You'd be hard-pressed to spend three days in Quito in more riveting ways than this. Take part in a G-Unique day tour, where you'll get an insider's experience of the city's best foodie and cultural highlights. You'll get an included lunch, then you and your group will head to Mitad del Mundo, a monument right at the equator, for a priceless photo op.
Day 1 Quito
Arrive at any time.
Day 2 Quito
Explore Quito on a walking tour, sampling some tasty local bites along the way. Stroll through Quito's plazas and admire the stunning architecture of Palacio Arzobispal and La Compañía. Enjoy a chocolate and coffee tasting and learn the process of how different products are made. Then visit the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before driving to the Panecillo, a towering statue of the virgin of Quito who looks out over a panoramic view of the city. After an included lunch, continue north outside the city to Mitad del Mundo or "the Middle of the World." Stand at latitude 0º with one foot in each hemisphere.
Day 3 Quito
After checking out of the hotel, enjoy a free day to choose from a variety of optional activities like a tour to Cotopaxi or Mindo Cloud Forest. For travellers continuing on to another G Adventures tour, your CEO will help facilitate the joining of the new group starting in the evening.
