River Cruising is becoming more and more popular with both our touring customers and Ocean Cruising customers as they discover the appeal of lazily floating down the World’s most famous river ways and stopping daily to explore the many lesser known towns and cities as well as the more famous.

But, what cruise line should I use? The cruise itineraries look the same but there is a big difference in price from one company to another? What are the pros and cons of the different cabin types, river view, french balcony or full balcony?

At Suitcase Travel we are passionate about River Cruising and we have cruised with several cruise companies and ships over the past years. We are therefore in a great position to give independent unbiased advice on what is on offer between all the different river cruises and which one would suit you best. Some companies include excursions in price whereas others charge extra for excursions. Most are full board, but some include drinks with meals, some include all drinks, whereas some do not include drinks at all.
