Before (or after!) you venture to the Inca Trail, spend three days going off-the-beaten-path in Cusco. This is an insider's look at the city's best, including a visit to the San Pedro market and the Christ statue with its angelic views. Explore the Sacsaywaman ruins before following your CEO down winding cobblestone streets to San Blas. Finish off with a lunch at a traditional "picantería" full of local specialties.
Day 1 Cusco
Meet your fellow travellers and CEO at a 9am briefing before heading out on an insider's tour of Cusco. Walk to the San Pedro market to experience the sights and smells and enjoy a fresh juice from one of the kiosks. Continue by private transfer up to the Cristo Blanco near the ruins of Sacsaywaman for panoramic views of the city. From here, walk down a trail to the narrow cobblestone streets of San Blas, lined with cafes and local art galleries. Pass through the main Plaza de Armas and finish at a typical 'picantería' for a local lunch. Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring, shopping or just enjoying the views from a cafe on the plaza.
Day 2 Cusco
Enjoy a full free day to choose from a variety of optional activities such as; a hike to Rainbow Mountain, biking or otherwise enjoy time on your own for individual exploration of this incredible city.
Day 3 Cusco
Depart at any time.
