Villa Alexandros

The famous olive trees of Paxos not only provide some of the most highly prized oil in Greece, they also frame the spectacular view from the Villa Alexandros. Built in the local style, the villa has all the modern amenities to complement its beautiful treetop setting.

The large terrace extends round two sides of the villa, with superb views from the swimming pool area, the barbecue and the spacious, part shaded front terrace across the trees to the Inner Ionian Sea.

The interior of the villa with its wood-lined vault ceilings and cool well-furnished living/dining room with dual aspect fully glazed doors and windows and a fully-fitted kitchen area is designed to complement the views. Both bedrooms, a twin and a double have air-conditioning and there is a separate bathroom with shower.

On Paxos you are never more than a few minutes’ drive from the coast and a wide choice of beaches. The wilder west side of the island with its high cliffs and spectacular rock formations is well worth exploring, especially in the cool of the evening to watch the sun set over Homer’s “wine dark sea”. Gaios, with its wide choice of tavernas, shops and waterfront life is a mere five minute drive down through the olives and cypress trees.
