Marianthi's House

We realise that not everyone who comes to Kefalonia  requires a large property, but finding a smaller property with its own private pool  to suit couples or smaller families often means that the swimming pools are shared – until now. We are very fortunate to have found the truly charming Marianthi’s House.

Built in the local traditional style, the house has all the modern amenities to complement its beautiful surroundings. Set in the little village of Tzamarelata is in a glorious rural location between the foothills of the mountains and the Ionian Sea. Overlooking the oak and cypress woodland beyond Marianthi’s House has been designed and built to take full advantage of the outstanding views , beautiful sunsets  and the natural beauty surrounding it .

The house consists of an open plan living room and fully equipped kitchen and a twin bedroom with en suite bathroom (bath & shower). The living room and ground floor bedroom lead out onto out to lovely pool area. The upper floor comprises of a double bedroom with adjoining shower room and terrace with magnificent views of the western coast line and open sea towards Italy.

On Kefalonia you are never more than a few minutes’ drive from the coast and a wide range of beaches. The nearby beaches of St Jerusalem and Alaties are usually peaceful uncrowded and excellent for swimming and snorkelling in the crystal clear Ionian azure water. Tsamarelata is also a relatively short distance to the quaint village of Manganos where you will find a greengrocers, mini market and a couple of tavernas, perfect for that early morning stroll to collect some fresh bread for breakfast by the pool or on the upper terrace.

Marianthi’s House quite simply has a sublime location with captivating views, perfect to relax and unwind.
