Jamaica is the home to Sandals with this island being where it all began. If you are looking for a boutique and intimate resort in Jamaica, then Sandals Royal Plantation is the best place to spend your honeymoon. It is also the best rated resort out of all the Sandals properties. Due to its intimate nature, it tends to have more of a relaxing atmosphere compared to some of the other Sandals resorts. However, by staying here it doesn’t mean you can’t have a fun night out if you want. You can grab a free ride over to Sandals Ochi, which has a great nightlife and we personally recommend visiting the speak easy bar there.
Best Swimming Pool – Sandals Royal Barbados, Barbados
Sandals Royal Barbados is the newest Sandals resort and wow, what an amazing place it is! Its décor throughout is modern and chic. The atmosphere here is sophisticated and laid back, which is a perfect combination for a honeymoon. The beach is superb but the highlight of Sandals Royal Barbados has to be its swimming pools. There is not just one but in fact two breath-taking infinity pools here. Our favourite infinity pool has to be the one that is on the rooftop simply because you get great panoramic views whilst sipping on a cocktail in the pool. The other infinity pool is on the beachside and has its own swim-up bar, which we can’t complain about either.
Best For Scuba Diving – Sandals Grenada, Grenada
You can enjoy scuba diving at all the Sandals resorts and is in fact included in the all-inclusive package for those that are scuba certified. However, the resort that guests seem to love the most for scuba diving is Sandals Grenada. There is a good mix of dive sites around this island plus lots of coral reefs that are full of life. As a result, you have plenty of chances to spot fishes of all varieties, turtles, octopus, nurse sharks, barracuda and more. Whilst in Grenada, you should not miss out on discovering the world’s first Underwater Sculpture Park as it is an experience like no other.
Best Views – Sandals Regency La Toc, St. Lucia
Beautiful, magical and romantic, Sandals Regency La Toc has an irresistible charm. Antigua is known as the romantic island of the Caribbean so it is only right that Sandals have kept up with this tradition with their resort in Antigua. This has been proven by being voted as the Most Romantic Resort in the World! The location of Sandals Grande Antigua is on one of the best of the island’s 365 beaches, Dickenson Bay.
