See two of the most romantic cities in the world whilst also enjoying the ultimate luxury rail journey, the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. This special short break starts from your regional airport flying to Rome where you will stay for three nights. You will then board the legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express to Paris before flying back to your regional airport. Itinerary

Day 1 - Flight UK to Rome

You will fly to Rome from your regional airport and once you have landed, you will transfer from the airport to your hotel. Unpack and spend the rest of the day exploring the city.

Day 2-3 – Rome

This is your time to marvel at all the wonders that Rome has to offer at your own pace. See the famous sites such as the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Vatican whilst relishing the tastiest ice cream you will ever eat. If you would like us to arrange entrance to any of the sites before you travel, just let us know and we can do so for you.

Day 4 - Venice Simplon-Orient-Express

Today is the start of what we are sure you will have been looking forward to the most. In the evening, your journey of a lifetime begins as you transfer to the famous Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. Be prepared to step back in time and be pampered from the moment you hop on board.

In the evening be sure to dress to impress and savour culinary delights in the most elegant surroundings imaginable, while your steward converts your bijou cabin into cosy sleeping berths ready for you to settle in between your luxurious sheets and listen to the rhythmic “clickety-clack” of the vintage carriages as the train continues its voyage throughout the night.

Day 5 - Return to the UK

After having a continental breakfast in your cabin, you will arrive in Paris. You will have a transfer waiting for you to take you to the airport for your flight back home.
