The resort is located in the Greek region of Messinia in the southwest Peloponnese along the coast of the Ionian Sea, 2.45 hours' drive from the city of Athens and 50 minutes' drive from Kalamata International Airport.

There are 321 rooms, suites, and villas at The Romanos Resort, with balcony, patio, or terrace offering garden or sea views, and almost all ground floor rooms and suites have a private infinity pool whilst villas are exceptional residences located by the sea with direct access to the beach and a private infinity pool.All rooms, suites, and villas are equipped with every kind of comfort including air-conditioning, Wi-Fi internet access, flat-screen television, satellite or cable, a mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities (on request only in the rooms), hairdryer, bathrobes, and slippers, safe, and daily maid service. For guests staying in suites and villas, a butler service is also available, along with a range of unique amenities including use of a helipad with VIP pick-up, exclusive check-in area and in-room welcome amenities, unpacking/packing service, priority reservations and golf tee times.
