Day 2 Hanoi/Sa Pá
With an early morning start, travel to the mountains of Sa Pá. Set out on your first trek to the village of Cat Cat. Meet locals going about their day as you pass giant wooden water wheels used to pound rice from the area's terraced fields. Stop by a village craft shop to see weavers at work on their looms. Trek back to Sa Pá for the night.
Day 3 Sa Pá/Tả Van
Today, embark on a 15km hike to reach the village of Tả Van. Uncover the beauty of this northern region as you wind your way down the valley, admiring peaceful villages and rice terraces intricately carved into the slopes. After a long day, savour a delicious dinner with your host family at tonight's rustic homestay.
Day 4 Tả Van/Sa Pá
Set out for your final trek to the village of Giang Ta Chai, stopping by the Muong Hoa River en route. Hike through terraced rice paddies, a bamboo forest, and picturesque waterfalls as you take in the lush landscapes. This afternoon, transfer back to Sa Pá, before boarding an overnight train to Hanoi.
