The Danai is situated on the Aegean Peninsula in Sithonia, the middle prong of the Halkidiki, Northern Greece.

There are 56 bright and stylishly-appointed suites and villas, with views of either the hotel gardens or the Aegean Sea. All have a private balcony or terrace with outdoor seating, air conditioning, satellite TV, Bose sound system, mini bar, a marble bathroom with Bulgari amenities and complimentary WiFi. The Two Bedroom Suites accommodate up to four people, making them a good choice for families, and the spacious Presidential Suite can interconnect with a Junior Suite to create a larger family option. The opulent Mediterranean Suite comes with a Jacuzzi bath and home video system with surround sound, while the Pool Suites each have their own private pool with sea views. The multi award-winning Squirrel restaurant cooks up a gourmet fusion of French and Mediterranean flavours, served on an intimate open-air terrace facing the sea. Andromeda is another al fresco venue, providing a more modern take on Mediterranean cuisine and a lovely outdoor dining area surrounded by pine trees, while the Sea Horse Grill serves Greek specialities, fresh seafood and tasty barbecues down by the beach. The hotel sits on a gorgeous private beach complete with shady cabanas, and there’s both an outdoor swimming pool and a heated indoor pool to choose from. Other facilities include a gym, tennis court, mountain bikes and watersports including waterskiing, windsurfing and sailing. A fitness instructor and yoga instructor are both available on request, and activities available nearby include golf and horse riding. The excellent spa offers a range of treatments drawing on eastern philosophies such as Ayurveda and Shiatsu; you can take a treatment at the spa, on the beach or in the privacy of your suite.
