Arctic SnowHotel and Glass Igloos
Drifting northwards at around 15 metres every year and straddling eight countries, the Arctic Circle is vast. It is also home to about four million people and an abundance of wildlife and plant species. Its position on the planet means that summer is a time of plentiful light (the sun can still be seen at midnight). Whilst winter is dark, depending on solar activity, the Northern Lights can be seen lighting up the sky with breath taking colour.
The Arctic conjures up different images for people. But none is more magical than the starry night sky and the potential of witnessing the greatest light show on earth.
